Dragos Talvescu new pic_1.JPGDragos is a graduate student at the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, studying international management and marketing with focus on energy, transportation, and sustainable development. Passionate about geography since childhood, he has long been fond of nature and cultural diversity, representing his country, Romania, in international geography competitions throughout the world during high-school. His friends think of him as an ambitious, energetic, hard-working person, always acting on his motto: ‘Dream your dreams with open eyes and make them come true’. As a climate advocate, Dragos expects to use his theoretical background in sustainable development to actually do something about climate change, rather than merely read and talk about it. He hopes to find his worldview challenged, enhance his leadership skills, and get a better insight into the Norwegian society. Let the low carbon future begin today!

The Green Building project focused on promoting the construction of passive and low energy buildings. The reason for this was obvious as buildings are responsible for over 40 per cent of the green house gas emissions. As a result of this project a new NGO called the Czech Green Building Council was established.
