The climate advocates launched their Peachy Fairy Tales at the Day of Earth in Brno, Czech Republic PDF Print E-mail

Day_of_Earth.jpgThe Local Ecological and Economical Cuisine (LILEK) project concentrated on raising awareness about local and seasonal food, as these are positive choices for anyone who is conscious about what we eat. The aim of the project was to promote local food and encourage people to buy more locally with the main outcome being the creation of a book of fairy tales called "Peachy Fairy Tales“. As well as fairy tales, the book also consists of some fun activities for kids, and web links and recipes for adults. The fairy tales were presented to public in Brno during the "Day of Earth“ back in April. The Climate Advocates hosted a Challenge Europe stall full of interesting and useful information for adults, and funny and educational activities for kids highlighting why it is important to eat local food. There was also an opportunity to taste some delicious home made produce. Anyone who wants to share tips and find out more information about local food should visit the project's facebook page.
