Turkish Climate Advocates recently participated in a science festival organised by the Middle East Technical University Science Society Centre’s Science Student Club. The event was held on the 13th and 14th of March in the CEPA shopping mall.  Advocates met with people from lots of different backgrounds and had the opportunity to inform this interested audience about the projects they have been working on.
The Climate Advocate’s stand received great interest from as many as 2000 - 2500 people over the two days. Apart from the verbal information given by the advocates, informative leaflets were also distributed during the event. The Turkish advocates also informed the attentive audiences about the timeline of the projects including the photo competition exhibition, website, and education module. Information about the photo competition is given on our website. Entries are welcome from the 10th of April with the competition closes on the 2nd of August.

Tapping into the power of a well told tale, the Climate Advocates devised a teaching pack accompanying the classic Dr. Seuss story, The Lorax, to educate children aged between seven and nine of the issues around sustainability, consumption of goods and the future of the planet.
