Challenge Europe at COP15: making the most of international networking
During the COP15 climate change conference in Copenhagen our Climate Advocates got an opportunity to meet with 38 International Carbon Masters students from Edinburgh University and to hear from Scottish government ministers and experts what Scotland is doing to combat climate change. COP15 also gave the Climate Advocates an opportunity to further discuss their projects with many climate change experts and it was also a great opportunity for spreading the word about the British Council’s work in the field of climate change. How do you increase awareness of climate issues among teenagers? The Slovak Sciencewear competition aimed at secondary school students aged between 14 and 18, focusing on things that matter to them – fashion, music and having a voice.
