Climate Camp 2009 PDF Print E-mail

At the International Climate Camp in Slovenia 30 Climate Advocates from Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Slovenia and Turkey formulated “Jezersko Principles for Climate Action” they would like to see to be addressed at the COP 15 and by their national governments. ‘Don’t shop, swap!‘ was the idea behind the initiative which encouraged people to swap their goods rather than throw them away, re-use old products instead of buying new ones and by doing that help decrease CO2 emissions from the productionof new items.
