Ezra Goldman is a design strategist with an emphasis on the interrelationship between people, places and things. His focus is in leveraging people’s needs to motivate personal choices that positively impact major social issues. Current interests focus on coupling new technology with cultural trends and business imperatives to encourage environmentally beneficial choices in the transportation industry. He has a side interest in experimental exploration of the urban environment.

Maria NUUTINEN - Has a Master in Administrative Sciences from the University of Tampere, specialising in Environmental Policy and works for the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation in Helsinki on the Climate Change and Development Communication Project. “I want to speed up the change that we need to make in societies around the globe and find new ways to do it. With the work group I would like to achieve practical changes in the Finnish way of life (e.g. increase bicycling, reducing the amount of cars on the roads) as well as acceptance of using political means to increase climate equity.”

Challenge Europe Video

  • Maher Nasser, Director of the UN Information Service, invited Climate Advocates to submit their 'Jezersko Principles for Climate Action to the UN competition 'What would you say to to world leaders?' UK Climate Advocate Jane Burston responded to this request by recording a short video about most important principles from the Climate Camp: binding emissions targets, an alternative to GDP, a fair deal for developing countries and accountability for delivering on agreements made at Copenhagen.
