Denmark 2025
Danish Climate Advocates chose to use the medium of film and the structure of a series of interviews with several wellknown Danish climate experts to offer suggestions for climate change solutions. Their basic question was, ‘Could Denmark be carbon neutral by 2025?’ This ambitious project became a short film entitled Denmark 2025. The title was chosen as all the climate experts interviewed agreed that it would be possible for Denmark to be carbon neutral by 2025.
The film was shown at CO2PENHAGEN, a carbon neutral festival in September 2009. Following this screening, the film received other requests for showcasing it around Denmark. For example, a Grønvision (Green Vision) group of university students showed the film during a conference at the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen. It was also shown during the climate change conference COP15 at the Scottish Day event. Partners of the film production were Co2penhagen, COWI and Kran Film Collective. The film has English subtitles.
