Katka is currently working on her PhD thesis on ‘Advanced Building-energy Concepts’. She is interested in such issues as: the utilization of solar or other renewable energy, the optimization of building design, and intelligent building system control focused on energy performance especially in terms of residential buildings. Katka is looking forward to working with a team of people from different backgrounds to learn something new and share her views on environmental issues.
 
 
 
 
How do you increase awareness of climate issues among teenagers? The Slovak Sciencewear competition aimed at secondary school students aged between 14 and 18, focusing on things that matter to them – fashion, music and having a voice.
